Fairy Glen

Who loves fairy tale? I do. It's so hard to put into words but I found the Fairy Glen very magical. The Glen is hidden in the hills of Uig. One thing I love about this place is the tall rocky hill that you can climb up to the top and somehow reminded me of Rapunzel's tower except there is no tower there. It's just the formation of the hill, tall and stiff.

I did climb up the hill. The pathway was so narrow that you have to be careful not to fall down. When you get to the top you will see the whole Glen it's so beautiful! I wanted to stay long at the top but there was so many people trying to do the same thing it scared me a little bit. So I had to go down after I did the selfie with my husband. Can you spot him?

Also, Fairy Glen reminded me of the Chocolate Hills of Bohol, Philippines. There's so many haycock shaped hills. You need at least two hours to explore the whole Glen. And if you have watched "The Hobbit", their tiny village reminded me of the place. Very mythical.

The only downside about Fairy Glen is getting there and leaving the place. Like I said from my previous posts of Skye. The single track and cliffs alongside the road. Very tricky especially if there's another car in front of you. But other than that the Fairy Glen is worth the visit! I had a blast there. Living in a fairy tale moment.

Isle of Skye to be continued..
