Our last stop before we headed to Staffin campsite for the night. It was a very long journey and was a very long drive for my husband. At this time we were ready to pack up and rest. However the day wouldn't be complete without seeing Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls which was just 6 minutes drive from Lealt Falls. It was just a quick visit.

For me, Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls was just simply amazing. We were at the viewpoint where you can see the waterfall just right beside us overlooking Kilt Rock at the end if you zoom in. They call it Kilt Rock because of the "90-metre high wall and multi-coloured hexagonal columns of basalt rock and dolerite sills resembling the pleats of a tartan kilt" (Isle of Skye). It would be fantastic to see them centre stage. To do that a drone would be the best way to do it. But needless to say, it's just so nice to see the beauty of nature. In fact Skye is the best scenic place I have seen by far. Whether I'm out of the country or inside Scotland. The Isle of Skye is continually surprising me with nature's beauty. Every corner is just unbelievably beautiful. Even on our way to the Isle of Skye it was just phenomenon! And as soon as you hit the bridge of the Isle of Skye the excitement was surreal. It's definitely worth the visit 100% despite the long and winding road ahead, single track roads and driving uphill. But that's just part of the adventure right?

Isle of Skye to be continued..
Love it! Enjoy always Ate Myra and Kuya Jim! 💜
