We left the Staffin campsite as soon as we had breakfast and packed our stuff and tent. Unfortunately, the restaurant or the cafe on the campsite had been closed since we arrived there. There was no stock available unfortunately. I remember that night we were in a hurry to get to the campsite so we can have our tea before the restaurant closed. But it ended up it wasn't even open. So as soon as we put up our tent. Me and my husband were driving around Staffin town only to find out there were no places to eat and the shops were closed. It was 7pm and Sunday. Of course everything's closed. Eekk. Thankfully we were well prepared. We came back to campsite and made sandwiches and coffee instead then set in for the night.

Anyway, the next morning, we were on the road by 8am. We went to the Staffin attraction sites which just were close by like An Corran Beach where the Dinosaur Footprints were discovered. We never had a chance to see them coz we didn't know where to start. Ha. There's nothing much to describe the place but beautiful. I was in awe. However, single track roads and cliffs will welcome you! And it was packed with caravans and campers. We didn't stay long.

Then we headed to the Fossil and Dinosaur Museum. There was nothing much to see. Most in there were the old farmers tools which I have seen from my grandfather's collection in Bohol province, Philippines. There was a lot of old trinkets and bits and bobs. But if you are into old things or you haven't seen farmers tools in your life yet then maybe it's worth the visit. The fossils were interesting. Some of the dinosaurs footprints were just replicas. And oh, camera is not allowed considering it was just a very small place. Entrance fee, £4 for just five minutes visit. But at least it helped the small museum to keep going and keep the history alive for the next generation.

For my point of view, Staffin is such a nice small town in the middle of nowhere on top of the hills and surrounded by nature's beauty. It's almost out of civilisation coz Staffin is not far from Portree which is the main town of Isle of Skye. It's just the houses are mesmerising. Very dreamy. Holiday home vibe. In fact, the whole things about Isle of Skye is mesmerising in my perspective. It's feels like you're in a fairy tale world.
