After dropping by the main town of Portree on Skye. We headed to the Old Man of Storr which was only ten minutes drive. There was shower of rain when we got there. And because of the limited time we had, I didn't hike the Storr. Just a small walk to take a shot. Also, the rain was on and off and I was getting soaked. I was also worried about the time as we needed to check in at the Staffin campsite before 7pm. It was past 5 o'clock then and we had a few more stop to go to before camping.

To hike the Old Man of Storr, you really need to invest time. At least two hours or so to complete the trek, it depends on your stamina. I was going to walk a little bit further but the rain kept stopping me. However I got to see the beauty of Storr even if it's from afar. You can also see it peeking through on the way to the Trotternish peninsula and admire it from the Rigg Viewpoint. For me, that's good enough. Maybe one day I will get to see the whole Storr you'll never know, but it's definitely worth a visit. The rock and the pinnacles from afar are just breathtaking and more so if you see it up close.

The clouds were spilling over the tips of the Storr.
